Mindfulness Program For Children ages 6-10 and their Caregivers with Meditation Specialist Dinny Coleman
In these demanding times, why not help children learn strategies for dealing with stress and tension while they are young? This 3-week program will engage children and caregivers in mindfulness activities to help increase focus and self-awareness, along with relaxation exercises to help them learn to feel calmer in their minds and bodies. Wear comfy clothes and come prepared to do some gentle movement and yoga stretching too!

Investment: $100.00/1 adult & 1 child
($45 each additional adult /$15 each additional child)
Dinny Coleman, is a board certified Meditation Specialist, licensed Occupational Therapist and Certified Child Life Specialist. An accomplished educator and health care professional, meditation and yoga practitioner, Dinny brings over 30 years of experience working with adults, children and families to her meditation specialist practice. Prior to completing her meditation certification through the Center for Meditation Science, Dinny worked as Program Coordinator and instructor in the Graduate Child Life and Family Centered Care Program at Wheelock College for 16 years. In addition, she worked as a Child Life Specialist at the Mass. Hospital School and has been a specialty teacher in a full day Kindergarten and preschool setting. Her work as an Occupational Therapist ranged from Early Intervention to adult psychiatric treatment. Her varied experiences in heath care, education and community-based settings has provided her with a broad understanding of the complexities of supporting others on their journey toward health and well-being.
